Attention All Pilots

The insurance company have established the following regulations for PIC's flying to the Bahamas:

    *    The PIC must hold at least a private certificate.

    *    The PIC must have logged at least 200 hours total time.

    *    The PIC must have logged at least 25 hours in make and model.

    *    The PIC must complete an in-house "Island Flying" course prior to the Bahamas Flights.

In order to comply with the above regulations the Sundowners Board decided to:

    *    Require all PIC's going to the Bahamas to get board approval for their first flight of the year.

    *    Require all PIC's to present the Board with their log books as proof of the required flying time.

    *    Require all PIC's to take the in-house 'Island Flying" course prior to a Bahamas Flight. The next

such course will be presented after the general meeting TBA  (check with Mark or Heinz).

All those pilots wishing to fly to the Bahamas should bring their log book with them at that time.

This course will fulfill all insurance requirements. There will be other courses presented during the

course of the year, check with Mark or Heinz BAHAMAS TRAINING COMPLETED;  the last was March 1st, 2006,
