Pilots should contact the observers at least three days before the scheduled flight to coordinate the time of departure.

The flight will generally depart at one and one-half to two hours before sunset.

The pilot will make the final decision as to time of flight and GO/NO-GO weather decision. Flights should be approximately 1.3 hours in duration.

Any observer that cannot make the flight must notify the pilot and make scheduling arrangements with another observer or the pilot.                                                                  Pilots that switch flights must notify the observers affected.

Comments about the pilot, the equipment, the procedures, or any suggestions for improving the patrol flights should be entered on                                                                             the Observer Log.  Your input is very important to the continued success of the Patrol Flights.

                            All flights will be scheduled using Schedule Master. Call Bill Sutton if you do not have a password.
